Life Legacy
N. C. Witt, Jr., age 82, of Waco, passed away late Monday night, May 28, 2012 at Regent Care in Waco.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at White Rock Cemetery near Ross, with Dr. John Crowder officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
N. C. was born October 19, 1929 in Abbott, the son of Nathaniel Clayiel and Amie (Loyd) Witt. He attended school in Ross. N. C. was a self employed long haul truck driver and was manager for H.L. Young and worked for Young & Downing Bros. He was owner and operator of N. C. Witt Dairy in Tokio for 42 years until his retirement. N. C. enjoyed working at his dairy and loved spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and was always joking around.
N. C. is also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Francis Witt; and a granddaughter, Sasha Nanette Witt.
Survivors include his wife, Ronna Witt of Waco; one son, Richard Witt and wife Rochelle of Hewitt; a daughter, Rose Moore and husband Bob of Teague; a brother, Henry Witt, Sr. and wife Robin of Elk; a sister, Amie Davis and husband Ken of Rockport; five grandchildren, Tommy Moore, Amanda Witt, Nate Witt, Aidan Witt, and Autumn Witt; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Regent Care Center in Woodway for their love and care during his illness.
